One Balete Compound successfully conducted a comprehensive Fire and Earthquake Drill at the One Balete Compound last August 8, 2025, which included the SkyVillas, Skyline, and One Balete buildings.
The activity was held under the supervision of Barangay Pinagkaisahan Fire Station, led by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). The activity began with a fire safety seminar on fire classifications, proper extinguisher use, and prevention tips. Designated evacuation areas, a medical station, and a command center were set up in the open space of the compound.
Unit owners, tenants, employees, and security personnel actively participated in the exercises, which included patient handling, search and rescue practice, and fire suppression activities using both fire extinguishers and fire hoses. Security personnel, under the guidance of the BFP, demonstrated the correct handling and positioning of fire hoses and shared recommendations to further improve emergency preparedness within the compound. The exercise emphasized One Balete Compound’s commitment to safety, preparedness, and community cooperation.
